I love working within team nhow Amsterdam RAI from the very first moment. We are one of the newest hotels of NH Hotel Group and the first week was crazy but so much fun! We got the keys and had 9 days to completely unpack everything and setup ready for largest Hospitality Fair of The Netherlands  the next week. The start was intense but great and we immediately felt like a team.

I would describe our team as a very diverse group of people who have either worked or travelled around the globe. There is a strong bond between us and a very sharp sense of humor. I love having a good laugh and I can honestly say that at least once a day we do laugh from the heart. I enjoy the cultural aspect and this is the golden thread from breakfast to banqueting and dining.

What success means to me? Actually, it isn’t anything like a huge event that I look back on. For me, success is daily interaction with people, knowing that myself and my team are living a good quality of life and that we have balance in our lives.

I think wat excites me the most is the unknown in the nhow world and all the possibilities that are out there. As a person who has lived and worked in 6 major cities in the world, there is something I find very exciting about the unknown. It scares me a bit but it makes me exited too!

What nhow means to me?  This is a tricky one, it is still a new brand so there are many opinions on what nhow is and what it will become. For me personally it means quality in an urban setting, being relaxed but still expecting the best.

It’s the daily challenges that keep me working in this hotel very day. It’s creating a new team, it’s the beautiful view every time you turn a corner in the hotel and last but not least it’s the vibrant colors. It energizes me!
